In the year that Wilsons served their first customer Man walked on the moon, the Beatles topped the charts with 'Get Back' and Ford launched the first Capri. Many things have changed since 1969 but our commitment to first class customer service remains.


Originally operating as a High Street Insurance Brokerage we have adapted to meet the needs of the modern Insurance Consumer. No longer do people want to traipse up and down the high street looking for insurance, wasting time standing in a shop filling in forms. After many years' experience dealing with customers over the telephone, including running schemes for major motor manufacturers we decided to expand our business nationally. In June 1993 we opened a new Quote Centre and increased our national awareness under the Quoteline Direct banner.


By strengthening our position as specialists in the affinity scheme marketplace we were successful in dramatically increasing our Gold Club partners in the latter part of the decade. Following widespread research and customer consultation, we saw out 1999 by closing our High Street network and opening our new Call Centre in Manchester.


The vast majority of our new customers come on personal recommendation from existing satisfied clients. We believe that our never ending commitment to providing first class customer service will ensure that we continue to grow. To this end we have invested in the very latest computer and telephone technology, all departments are centralised under one roof, one number covers all customer enquiries and we pursue extensive staff training programs.
